Further from the coast there is generally more shelter and less salt exposure, which widens the fabric and fixing options available.

This is why we survey before we quote rather than pricing off a plan. The same sized sail behaves differently on an exposed waterfront block than it does on a sheltered inland one, and the fixing points available to us are whatever the building actually gives us.
